The 3 Dressings That I Use All the Time, on Everything!
When you think dressing you often think salad, but there’s so many different things I use these dressings for and I always make up a bigger quantity to keep in the fridge so I can use them a few times.

I’m sure there are some good ones available but in general, store bought dressings contain things I don’t really want to be consuming like vegetable oils and thickeners, and most aren’t as delicious as these either!
Here are my three favourites that I use all the time. On salads of course but I also stir them through steamed or roasted veg, on rice or quinoa bowls, mixed through a pasta salad, as a sauce with proteins. You can use them on almost anything!
Basic Dressing
Equal amounts extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar
1-2 cloves of crushed garlic
Himalayan salt
Pepper
Put it all into a jar and shake until it’s mixed together. It sounds basic but it’s just so good.
Green Dressing
A large handful of parsley or coriander or a mixture of both. I’m sure it would be just as good with basil too
1 TB maple syrup
2 TB apple cider vinegar
¼ cup natural organic yoghurt
1 green chilli
Juice of a lime
Himalayan salt
Pepper
This one is my current favourite. Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
Tahini Dressing
1 TB tahini (I always buy unhulled tahini because its more nutrient dense and contains approx. 9 times more calcium that hulled tahini)
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp Himalayan salt
1 TB maple syrup
Juice of one lemon
Put it all into a jar and shake until it’s mixed together. According to hubby this is the best sauce he’s ever had! That might be taking it a bit far LOL but it is pretty awesome.
